Project: Microhouse, a new living
With TA Design Eping has embarked on a partnership that has involved both the redesign of products already on the market, but also the launch of new products. TA Design, with Eping by its side has decided to launch itself in the field of bioclimatic pergolas trying to bring innovation in the sector by exploiting the modularity of the product and introducing the concept of microhouse.
The pergola was designed starting from scratch. This required the study of all the components that make up the product. From the development of the aluminum profiles of the beams and columns to the study of assemblies. Eping designers have worked all round to offer their customer and the market a safe and comfortable product. Our engineers have performed the analysis in compliance with European regulations, calculating and optimizing the resistance of each individual component of the pergola.
With this project we wanted to offer the end customer not only a product for the embellishment of an outdoor space, but a new use of that space. For this reason, one of the design challenges concerned the compatibility of the different options with each other, thus guaranteeing a wide possibility of customizing the pergola.
